Dear Asian Youth Chesterfield

Dear Asian Youth Chesterfield is one of the many chapters of the DAY organization aimed to promote diversity both within and outside of the Asian community, as well as empowering the Asian youth in our area. As a chapter, we have taken steps to reach this goal by participating in community and school events, joining initiatives, and spreading awareness of Asian culture through social media. Through our efforts at community events, such as the Green Fair and Harvest Festival, we were able to raise money for Asian relief initiatives. Engagement in our school’s Multicultural Day has allowed us to represent various Asian cultures and cuisine throughout the years. Additionally, our monthly social media posts highlight several holidays and traditions celebrated throughout the Asian continent. We hope to continue to expand our efforts in empowering Asian youth to feel proud of their own culture and help in creating a safe and inclusive space for all.
